Dr. Manger received a bachelors degree from Yale University in 1965 before graduating from Howard University School of Medicine in 1971. He has been practicing in Hagerstown since completing his internship at Long Beach Memorial Hospital in 1972, then his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California at Davis in 1975. Since April 1, 2004 he has restricted his practice to Gynecology. Dr. Manger served as a post graduate educator in minimally invasive surgery, chairman of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is board certified by the American Board of OB/GYN and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Manger has participated in numerous local radio and television broadcast programs, and hosted public conferences to promote wellness and education on a number of womens health issues, including urinary incontinence, minimally invasive surgery, endometriosis, and pelvic reconstructive surgery.
