Dr. Blank, born and raised locally, is honored to be a physician. He gives each patient the time, care and attention he would expect his family to receive. He graduated with honors from Georgetown University in 1978, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. In 1982 he received his medical degree with honors from the University of Maryland and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Blank trained as an intern and resident at Georgetown University, where he served as the Chief Administrative Resident in 1985-86. Dr. Blank is a board certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He has practiced more than 20 years and thus his breath and depth of experience is extensive. He has special interest in preventative healthcare and patient education menopause management and female sexual function. In addition he has a keen interest in adolescent gynecology and serves as the Medical Director of the Teen Connection of Takoma, a clinic serving the needs of the underserved teens in the Greater Washington area. Dr. Blank is voted on the Best Physicians both in Washingtonian Magazine and Washington Consumer Checkbook. His proudest accomplishment, however, is his family he is married with four children.
