Dr. Newman completed his undergraduate education at Tufts University in 1974. He did his medical training at George Washington University School of Medicine and continued at GW for residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been in private practice for over twenty-five years. He is board certified and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Newman continues to deliver babies but also has an interest in gynecologic health and menopause. He is married and has two college-age children.
